I enjoy focusing on shadows and lines to capture a moment that will appeal to the eye. For the black and white photos, I used my Nikon D3500 camera and edited using Adobe Lightroom Classic.

I paid particular attention to the contrast between shades within this photo to highlight its shapes and dimensions.

This photo made it onto the cover of the University of Sioux Falls' magazine, The Vessel.

Looking straight up into the sky, I took this shot of an airplane as it soared passed.

I saw birds on top of a tall building in downtown Sioux Falls. Using a long lens, I was able to zoom in enough to capture this shot. I enjoy its simplicity.
